Pass Plus Course
The Pass Plus Scheme is a voluntary scheme that will offer benefits to newly qualified drivers. It consists of six modules as follows:-
- Town Driving
- All Weather Driving
- Out of Town Driving & Rural Roads
- Night Driving
- Dual Carriageways
- Motorways
Apart from gaining more experience and, perhaps even enhancing your newly acquired skills, any participating insurance company will offer you a discount in your first years premium which may be equivalent to a full years no claims bonus.
Your Pass Plus registered instructor will carry out an assessment of your driving skills in all of the above in order to ensure that you are able to drive at the required standard and this will mean at least another six hours of tuition. At the end of the course your instructor will complete all the necessary documentation and your certificate will be sent to you directly by the Driving Standards Agency.
Why should I take Pass Plus?
Apart from the benefit of possible cheaper car insurance, you will have the opportunity to experience Motorway driving for the first time with the guidance of your driving instructor. Also, statistics show that since pass plus was introduced the number of accidents attributed to new drivers has significantly decreased.
How much will it cost?
The cost for the complete Pass Plus Course is only £180.00.
